Hidden Creek Outfitters owns the two oldest and most remote camps in the famed Thorofare region of Wyoming. Located just outside the southeast corner of Yellowstone National Park, these camps are steeped in history. "Gates Camp Lucky" was made famous after a hunt by wealthy Charles Gates of Gates Tire & Rubber Company in 1913.
The Hidden Creek Camp was started by Max Wilde and was one of the first "Hunting Camps" in business. For 45 years, until the mid sixties, Wilde ran the outfit and hosted many celebrities of the day, including the legendary ball player Ty Cobb.

Today, both the Hidden Creek and Gates Camp Lucky (Teton) camps are owned and operated by Bill Perry. The combination of the two camps at Thorofare Adventures gives the hunter of today the largest and most remote territory there is in the lower 48.
