Bill Perry owner Hidden Creek Outfitters
with his trusted friend 'Shooter' crossing the Thorofare River

After 20 years of owning and operating Hidden Creek Outfitters and operating Gates Camp Lucky, Outfitter Bill Perry has now acquired the Gates Camp Lucky, Teton Wilderness Outfitting business.
Now under full ownership by Bill Perry you can be assured of the continued commitment by Hidden Creek Outfitters to provide the best hunting situation possible in the Thorofare region.

Camps

Hidden Creek Outfitters owns the two oldest and most remote camps in the famed Thorofare region of Wyoming. Located just outside the southeast corner of Yellowstone National Park, these camps are steeped in history. "Gates Camp Lucky" was made famous after a hunt by wealthy Charles Gates of Gates Tire & Rubber Company in 1913. The Hidden Creek Camp was started by Max Wilde and was one of the first in business. For 45 years, until the mid sixties, Wilde ran the outfit and hosted many celebrities of the day, including the legendary ball player Ty Cobb.

Today, both the Hidden Creek and Gates Camp Lucky (Teton) camps are owned and operated by Bill Perry. The combination of the two camps at Thorofare Adventures gives the hunter of today the largest and most remote territory there is.

What we are offering here is a TRUE WILDERNESS ADVENTURE, "THOROFARE ADVENTURES" You will be hunting in the most remote, game rich wilderness there is in the lower 48 states. In addition to being the home of the largest Elk herd, this wilderness also holds vast numbers of Bighorn Sheep, Deer, Moose, Black Bear along with protected species such as Grizzly Bears and Wolves, its a truly wild place.  We provide the very finest mountain horses, great meals, comfortable tents and excellent guides. The crew at Hidden Creek Outfitters is second to none. Our guides, wranglers, cooks, and camp jacks work around the clock to make sure your hunt is a great one.  These are the hunts you have read about and seen on TV. Packing in on horseback, sleeping in wall tents, hunting in the pristine wilderness with no sign of modern civilization, being one with the country where you can see the your game as it lives, not reacting to being pushed by other hunters on four wheelers or in trucks. The minute you throw your leg over the saddle you will be transformed back to the days of yesteryear.  Remember, most people do not regret the things they have done in life as much as the things they have not. Do not let this happen to you. Join us in the wilderness!  Our Thorofare River Camp has the distinction of being the oldest existing campsite in the Teton Wilderness Area. The history of the camp is colorful as the mountains that surround it.

Hidden Creek Outfitters is permitted under the Wyoming State Board of Outfitters and Professional Guides via special use permit from the United States Forest Service in the Teton Wilderness of the Bridger Teton National Forest.
Hidden Creek Outfitters Is an Equal Opportunity Service Provider.
