Equipment List
Weather can range from hot, clear, dry days to cooler, cloudy
wet days,
depending on the trip dates. Usually, it's comfortable, but this
is the Rockies, weather can change at any time. Layered clothing
is recommended. Wool is an excellent choice, nylon outer
garments or gortex jackets are good wind breakers. Some people like to wear jeans. These are fine as long as they
fit snugly. Good quality packable rain gear is a must. Footwear is most important. You will encounter all
types of conditions, rain, step terrain, mud and creek crossings.
I recommend a pair of hiking boots with "Air-Bob" or Vibrum
soles. They need to be broken
in before you get here. Gators are another great idea. Mornings
can be cool with dew on the ground, gators will keep you warm
and dry. Below is an equipment list of all the basic gear
you will need to bring. Check it over and if you need any
recommendations feel free to call. You will be traveling
in one of the most game rich and beautiful wilderness
areas in the lower fourty-eight.
I have tried to cover most of the things you will need for your
summer trip. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Rest assured that the crew will do the best we can to make this
the most enjoyable trip you've been on.
